Terms of service
In effect from 5 October 2026
These terms apply whenever you use Learnscape. By creating an account, you agree to them.
01The service
Learnscape generates a course on a topic you name: a syllabus, narrated video lessons and an explorable for each module. Courses are written by AI models and built automatically. We work to keep the service available and the courses good, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or improve it over time.
02Your account
You need to be at least 16 to use Learnscape. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and you should tell us through the contact form if you think someone else has got into it. One person per account.
03Credits and payments
Each course costs one credit. You can get credits in two ways:
- Monthly, at $20 a month, gives you 5 credits each billing period. They expire at the end of that period. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel any time from the Billing page, and it then ends at the close of the period you have paid for.
- Single course, at $5, gives you 1 credit that never expires.
Prices are in US dollars and payments are processed by Stripe. If a course fails to generate, its credit is returned to your account automatically. If something has gone wrong with a payment, write to us and we will put it right.
04Generated content
Courses are written by AI models and can contain mistakes, simplifications or out-of-date information. Treat a course as a way to learn, not as professional advice. Don't rely on it for medical, legal, financial, safety or engineering decisions.
We claim no ownership of the courses generated for you. You may watch, download and share them, and you are responsible for how you use them. The way Learnscape itself works, including its design, code and templates, remains ours.
05Acceptable use
Don't use Learnscape to:
- generate material that is illegal, or that harasses, threatens or sexualises anyone;
- produce instructions for weapons, attacks or other serious harm;
- infringe someone else's rights, or pass generated material off as a real person's words;
- probe, overload or get around the service's limits and security, or reach it by automated means we haven't offered.
We may decline to generate a topic that breaks these rules.
06Suspension and closing your account
You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; where we reasonably can, we will tell you why first. If we close an account for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the credits you have paid for and not used.
07Liability
To the extent the law allows, Learnscape is provided as it is. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law does not allow to be limited.
08Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top when we do, and for a significant change we will email account holders before it takes effect. If you keep using Learnscape after that, you accept the new terms.
09Contact
Questions about these terms, or about your account, go through the contact form. How we handle your information is set out in the privacy policy.
